I was in the Matthews area and had been told about Billy's so I decided to try it. Glad that I did!! Relaxed atmosphere with great service. I tried their smoked chicken and it was very tender and their baked beans were excellent. I will definitely be back.

Horrible Experience. I went there with my girlfriend on Saturday night to have a drink and some food after I got off from work. I got there between 10:00 and 11:00 PM, We were told to sit anywhere we wanted so we headed towards a table, we waited for at least 8 minutes for someone to come to our table and greet us. My girlfriend ordered a drink from the menu (Blue Bayou) and I ordered a beer. We also ordered some food at that time since we did not want to wait another 10 minutes for the waitress to take our order. The drinks got to our table some time later, My girlfriend tried her drink and she mentioned to me that it did not taste good, I tried it and it was indeed horrible. It seemes like the juices they had used for it were old and had gone bad. When our food finally came out I told our server that we did not like the drink and she only said: "uh, sorry, I cannot take any drinks back to the bar, it is company policy" with a look on her face like it was not her problem, and then she left. She would not let me explain anything to her. We then tried our food and it was overcooked and soggy.

The waitress checked back on us 15 minutes later. and offered us to throw our drink away for us, it was still completely full.

We then asked for our check 3 times and she finally brought it to our table, we paid and left knowing that we will never go back to that terrible place. And if anybody ever ask me, I will definitely advise him not to go there.
