I will never go anywhere else!. Excellent customer service and even better value! My car actually entered the garage right when I got there, instead of hours later like most places! I was only there for 30 min and got an oil change and tire rotation. Very pleased and will definitely be back next time...and the time after that!
Friendly Service with Bonuses.
Whether it's Dave or another member of the staff, I'm always greeted shortly after entering the service write-up area, along with an offer of a cup of coffee while I wait.
Today I went in to use a $10 off coupon for a standard oil change I'd gotten from their web site and was asked if I'd like a free tire rotation. The tire rotation, air pressure check and topping off fluids is probably worth at least another $20 anywhere else!
Fortunately I haven't had a need for any major repairs, but if and when I do, I'll feel comfortable taking my car there.
Excellent Staff and Excellent service. I've been a customer since 07 when I moved here from "up North." First I found a doctor and then I found a service station I could trust. Steele Creek Tire and Auto has been a first rate service station, with knowledgable service writers, exceptional mechanics, and most importantly, the integrity a customer expects. I trust their judgment in all facets of auto repair. You can expect witty repartee from both Doug and Dave while you wait in their clean and comfortable waiting area. They also have great coffee. I would recommend these guys to anyone. They repair all makes and models. For me, trust is essential if I bring my car in for repairs. I feel confident in doing that at Steele Creek Tire and Auto.
Steele Creek Service Center.
I have a 1997 BMWZ3 in mint condition. She only has 26000, miles on her and is "very pampered." She needed a yearly inspection.
After meeting with the accommodating, friendly staff and observing the cleanliness of the shop I felt very confident using STEELE CREEK TIRE & SERVICE CENTER, the only shop we will ever use!
Again many thanks to Keith, Mgr. and his team.
Hello, I'm the owner of Steele Creek Tire & Service Center. We are a very busy shop known for our Superior Customer Service and Quality Auto Repairs. As the owner, I try to satisfy each customer as if they were a family member. In recent months, the cost of repairing a vehicle has gone up sharply and we always try to give the best possible prices to our customers. There are times when things don't go as planned. In these cases, our door is always open and we always do what is RIGHT! I don't understand why customers choose to write negative and sometimes false statements about our service facility, but they do. In closing, I ask that anyone with an issue contact me personally for resolution. We claim to be better than others in our industry and we prove it everyday. We try very hard to do the job right and provide a level of customer service matched by none!
Thank You, Doug Gailor.
DO NOT USE Steele Creek Tire & Svc Ctr. I made an appt for simple oil change and it took one hour and forty five minutes to get me out of there and my truck left worse off then when it got there. I had a very small leak in coolant system (i would usually need to add a couple pints of water every 3-5 weeks) but that night when I got home my truck was dripping like crazy. I now have to add water/coolant every day. They tell me it was like that before..however not so...so frustrating. Anyways they are going to do nothing about it and whats done is done.. so at this point I have absolutely no reason to make any of this up. This is all true and accurate. Don't go here. I got screwed.
My name is Doug Gailor, owner of Steele Creek Tire. In response to this young man's complaint, I would like to say that we top off all fluids when we do an oil and filter change. This customer has indicated that he was adding coolant on a regular basis and the vehicle was in need of repair when we changed the oil. I spoke to the gentlemen and my impression was that he was trying to intimidate us into repairing his vehicle for free.
A big rip off... Don't give them your money. I paid 1200 for steele creek to replace my fuel pump n vavle 2 weeks later my gas gauge won't read. I came by on monday the guy tells me with a smile its probly a faulty part... When can u bring it in set up a so called appt I brought my vehicle back at 7 when they open.. Another person tells me it'll b ready around lunch at 10... So I leave my only source of transporation once again in a two week period and call around 10 am he tells me they havnt evn lookd at it? And that if they have 2 look at the fuel pump it cld take 2-3 hours and won't b ready until later this evening?? I told him thts why I made an appt so that I cld b on a timeframe he tells me well evrybody else had a appt to and suggest I call enterprise rent a car???? Will def not be giving them not a cent more of my money they are overpriced and don't care about customer service! I work in customer service I understand mistakes. You correct them as soon as possible and apologize... Def was not satisfyed and will b telling evryone who will listen about this expierience
Wonderful. I drive back to Charlotte just to go here!.
I have been taking my car to Steele Creek for almost 6 years. I have always had the best possible service that I could ask from any car service company. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and through, as well as very personable.
Over the six years, I have had two cars and way too many occasions to need repair. In those cases I have always consulted Steele Creek first. Not only is the business family run, but everyone is just so personable.
I will even come back to Charlotte just for an inspection or tune up because I trust Steele Creek. They are the best car servicing business in the Charlotte area, hands down.
It's gone down hill. I'm not sure what has happened to Steele Creek Tire, it used to be good. I'm looking for a new tire dealer. Anyone know of one?
I've been taking my car to Steele Creek Tire for several years and have always received superior service. I've had tires replaced, brakes, inspections and many other things done. I've always found the owner Doug Gailor to be very honest and straight forward. I once brought my car in for what I thought to be shocks... after looking at the car Doug told me it wasn't the shocks at all, but my brake pads. But instead of immediately telling me I needed to have my shocks replaced like some shops would do just to get you money, he instead was honest and told me it was only my brake pads making the noise... and he even told me I didn't need to have them replaced right then, but I could afford to wait up to 5 months before it was necessary.
The mechanics are knowledgeable, the owner is honest, and overall I've been so pleased with them. I think the other people who left negative reviews need to realize that when you take your car somewhere for what you think is the problem, it maybe something else. And a honest place will tell you what is really wrong. Now if that is more expensive, that isn't the shops fault. That's just part of having a car, a used one at least.
