Performing chefs cook up rustic, home-style Italian entrees at this buzzing family restaurant.. In Short A boisterous, all-ages crowd of pasta lovers pack this energetic Italian spot, where chefs clad in white hats and red scarves keep diners wide-eyed by showing their moves in the busy open kitchen. The menu boasts family-sized portions of hearty traditional fare, from antipasti, chicken and pasta dishes to seafood, steak and wood-fired pizzas. Signature plates include grilled pork chops, lobster ravioli, and penne rustica with shrimp, grilled chicken and smoked prosciutto in cream sauce.
A favorite of my family and of co-workers, no one has had a dish that wasn't great. The Penne Rustica is the most popular of all. Busy on weekends, but worth the wait (Bar booths are first come, first serve).
This resturant is the best I have ever been to. The service is absolutley the best and the food is same. The atmospere is casual for the couple just looking for a great meal yet sophisticated enough for a business gathering.
Shades of Italy.
The meal starts with a wonderful LUMP of bread served with virgin olive oil and pepper for dipping. The pasta dishes are outstanding, my favorite the Shrimp Portofino. Deserts are also special, but I never have toom for them.
Just opened a new Macaroni Grill at Providence Rd. & I-485.
