Kinda burns my a$$!. Kinda pisses me off that my wife is charged for a diet coke that she never even ordered! Yes, she drank it and I was told that if she had had a beer then I would not have been charged, guess what...the diet coke cost 1.75 and a beer was only 1.50! What happened to the DD gets a free soft drink? She ordered food and I had 3 beers, to bad so sad...LATER!

Yellow Rose Not to smart. Dudes and Lasses - watch the inside bar tenders. Seams you can go in and have two or three beers and then the bar tenders word becomes is the gospel truth. (Kind of odd when the dude says he is the manager and will not give you his name). He tells you did not pay for the beer before the last one. You pay for it and he gets bent out outs shape when you ask for the change. (He kind of forgets to give you your change.) When you ask for the change he seams to get pissed. (By the way I had been leaving dollar tips all night) I finally get the change. It does not matter if it its .25 cents or 25 dollars the bar tender is still pissed that I asked for the change. After receiving my change and leavening my bottle of beer poured upside down in a cup to quietly protest his ignorance as I walk to the exit tender hurries over to the bouncer and, before I can say anything, tells the bouncer he is throwing me out. (Well my word as a customer is shot) The bouncer is some big dude with a rolled news paper and he tells you to come back tomorrow because “why would anyone believe some guy that has been drinking”. I am outside complaining to the bouncer and the bartender who is pissed that I asked for the change comes outside and says he will call the cops (because I am talking to the bouncer and complaining –to top it off the bartender whom says he is the manager will not give me his name)

All in all for what should be a neighborhood bar this place sucks. Particularly even when an old bar keep from TJ’s cowers and watches while he knows what the so called manager is doing. I have been a bar keep and the customer services at this place sucks. Now the gal tending bar on the patio was cordial and got the same tip per beer I left bar tender inside. If I am wrong and did not pay for the beer fine, why this guy did not tend my change and more or less blow of the transaction is an issue. I paid without COMPLAINING. Why DOES THIS GUY GET PISSED AND CALL THE WRATH OF THE BOUNCER AS I AM WALKING OUT. BECAUSE I ASKED FOR MY CHANGE? When you need a night out for a neighborhood bar I would avoid this place and pick one of the other places in Pineville NC.

I guess if they do not see you in there every weekend your fair play to be screwed. At least in the opinion of the no name manager. It would be nice to have a place like TJ’s back.

Greatest Bar In Charlotte. I have been going there for almost two years now and its my favoirte place to be. I have made some great friends, and I can honestly say i have never left there not feeling fantastic! (maybe not so good the next day....) haha I take all my friends there! Its a nice hole in the wall that I want to have a good time in. I love the staff, they take good care of my friends and I. i love the kareoke.....and everyone who sings :) Five stars, no doubt.

Great Bar Food. This place has really good bar food and staff is very friendly. Bathrooms are not that appealing and when it gets packed you can cut the smoke with a knife. Hole in the wall place to meet up with friends, come as you are.

Best Real Bar in Charlotte. The servers are the key factor providing the special attention they give to customers along with a smile (even if in a bad mood!). The food is very good with consistent and tasty quality. Being what I consider a real "whole in the wall" place, I don't believe you will find anything better in the area.

One never wants to go there...but it's so damn fun..... OK, this is the one place that I hate to tell anyone that I love to go to. So it's smokey, so the people there are country and nasty, so the bathrooms are smelly and nasty. I love this place and will tell nobody that I do. The bartenders are sweet girls and everytime I go in there, I say to myself, "not the rose again", but everytime I leave there I say, "another crazy fun night at the rose". No matter how much you don't want to go in, it's always a good time. Try it out and keep an open mind. You'll have a great time, and hey, you might get lucky and meet me...hahah
