Very Disapointed........ I have been a client with this salon for a few years now. I recently called to make an appointment with my stylist Kat and was informed that she was no longer there! So obviously I asked where she had moved and they refused to give me that information. I have been through this before so I asked for her last name so I could try to locate her myself and they were very short and said they did not know her last name?!I refuse to return to that salon now, I was only there because of Kat. I am still looking so if anyone knows where she is PLEASE let me know!!!

Great salon!. For several years after moving to Charlotte, I continued to travel over an hour to my old stylist back home and was afraid to take the plunge and trust anyone new. I decided to try someone local last year and I am very glad I did! Leslie is wonderful! She always cuts my hair exactly the way I want it. Most importantly, she listens to me and does what will look best on me. Great customer service!

Fantastic Salon!. My experience with Alan Daniels Salon has been great. I always enjoy seeing everyone when I come for my appointments. I see Kat and she is a genius! I have never been happier with my hair than I am now! Her cuts are precision and her colors are awesome! She always has new ideas for my hair, and I never get bored with it. The receptionists are also always very friendly when I make my appointments or come in. I definately recomend going to Alan Daniells if you want to LOVE your hair!

Love Erika at Alan Daniels. GREAT price for the cut!!!!

I recommend Erika at Alan Daniels... She gives great suggestions on color and always gets it right. She cut ten inches off my hair two years ago and I loved the new look. She's helped me grow it back out since, keeping my layers looking fresh. Go see Erika!

Rachel E. Is the best!. I have followed her from 2 salons. She does the best foils for beautiful highlights and gives great cuts!I always get compliments. I would recommend her to anyone.

Excellent Everything!. Alan Daniels Salon offers excellent service; specifically Erika - from greeting to talking with you, to the consultation and what it is you want to do with your hair. Erika always brings great suggestions to the table, as far as cut, color, style, etc, and is always energetic. Her hair washes and scalp massages are THE BEST i have ever had and she always does amazing things with cuts and colors.

Alan Daniels is great and Erika, hands down, rocks.

I totally disagree with the comment below!!!. I definately disagree with this comment! I just moved here from New York about a year ago and I went to several "upscale" salons in Charlotte. They were all overpriced and I didnt get what I asked for. It is hard to get in with certain stylists, but that is a good thing! Mistakes happen and I have had nothing but excellent customer service since I have been a client of theirs. I used to see Kim but am now seeing Kat , and have even been invited to several client appreciation events! I am very happy with the service, and never been happier with my hair. I would feel comfortable seeing ANY of the stylists there.

Great stylists, but poor customer service. I used to go to Alan Daniels Salon fairly frequently. Around the time of Easter 2006, I called the salon a few days before the holiday. I said, I know you probably have no openings on Saturday (the day before Easter), but I was calling to check anyway. The girl on the phone enthusiastically said they did have an opening for Saturday, and booked the appointment. I was glad to score an appointment. Anyway, Friday comes and guess what, I get a voice message from the salon saying they were sorry I had missed my appointment, but please call and reschedule it. Whaaaa?? I called and said, ummmm, no, my appointment was for Saturday. The guy on the other end was very insistent and rude about the whole thing, he kept insisting it was for Friday. It was totally THEIR mistake, yet I got no apology, nothing. Customer service and the way an organization values my business is VERY important to me. I work in a service-oriented industry and we practically kiss our customers' butts to keep them happy. If you get bad service, you are likely to tell 9 people, but if you get good service you might tell 1-2. Since thousands will see this, I hope that it was worth it to AD Salon not to give me a simple apology and recognition/admittance of a mistake. Haven't been back to AD Salon in about a year and a half, and am quite happy with my new salon.

Yes, they'll do a great job on your hair. I am just very particular with the LITTLE things that show you that you are valued as a customer, so I will not return simply on principal.

Best Salon in Charlotte!. I highly recomend Alan Daniels Salon! The staff is very friendly, and they always try to make my appointments work for me no matter what. I have never once been unhappy with anything at all about the salon. I see KAT, she is amazing!!!! I feel like a new person everytime I leave, and its better every time! Even though I see KAT all of the other stylists are very friendly to me even though I am not they're client. I definitely reccomend trying it out. I found out about the salon 2 years ago at the Southern Womens Show, and I havent been dissapointed with my hair since!
