Great Uptown Coffee and Sandwiches. This place is great to stop by and get some coffee and great sandwich. I love their ham sandwiches and they have great pasta salad. It can get crowded, but I used to go there so much that they always knew my order. The employees seem to get stressed every now and then, but if you're nice to them then they'll be nice to you.

A Center City Gem. Tic Toc is a wonderful hidden treasure in the Center City. I stop in almost daily for morning coffee, and enjoy its relaxed atmosphere. Order a breakfast sandwich or grab a fresh muffin or bagel for a great and tasty morning start. For lunch, you can not beat Tic Tocs sandwiches. The portions are very healty. Don't miss something called "Miss Mary's Banana Pudding" ... YUM.

Tic Toc is a great place to start your Uptown morning. Bring your newspaper, order a bagel, muffin or even a breakfast sandwich and relax in the quiet charm of this coffeeshop that is just too hip to be a full-fledged diner. Coffee lovers will be glad to see latte, mochaccino, and espresso listed on the menu.


The Scene
The tiny building with the purple canopy in front can easily be dwarfed by the growing Uptown scene, but its welcome storefront appeal keeps customers coming back. Inside you'll find a clean and well kept environment. The muted green walls as well as one faux brick wall warm the place up nicely. In the back of this quaint space you'll find sofa seating, bookshelves, and tasteful local art in a living room atmosphere. You'll wonder how they were able to fit so much charm in this amount of space.


The Food
There's always a lunchtime special at Tic Toc. Try the fresh soup or look for some old menu favorites such as BLT and tuna sandwiches. For a new classic, try roll-ups made with shitake and portabello mushrooms.
