In Short – Situated in a heavily wooded spot, the scenic park features facilities for both sport and rest. Picnic areas, Victorian gazebos and formal garden areas make it easy to relax, while eight tennis courts, a playground and a sandy beach overlooking Lake Norman beg you to come out and play. Rent a bike March through October, or bring your own for a ride on the park's trails. Many in-line skaters take advantage of smooth asphalt walkways.
