An avowedly pro-business city like Charlotte had better have a state-of-the-art place for visiting businesspeople to gather. This center, which opened in January 1995, does not disappoint.



The 850,000-square-foot facility boasts 280,000 square feet of contiguous exhibit space, a 35,000-square-foot ballroom, up to 46 meeting rooms and 22 covered loading docks. A number of impressive trade and consumer shows, conventions and conferences set up shop regularly. A gift shop, concessions and a business center with computer, copy and fax services add to the center's amenities.



The Location


You couldn't ask for a better location in Charlotte: right in the heart of Uptown, convenient to hotels and restaurants. The center's concierge and visitor information center are there to help conventioneers get the most out of their visit to the Queen City.
